Semarang, June 2, 2026 – The IDBU 11 Community Service Program (KKN) team from Diponegoro University conducted a briefing for KKN student participants in Room A.3.10, Building A, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Diponegoro University. This event was attended by 31 KKN student participants and three supervising lecturers, namely Yuli Rohmiyati, S.Sos., M.Si., Ph.D, drh. Siti Susanti, Ph.D., and Aditiya Kusumawati, S.K.M., M.Kes. The briefing was conducted as an effort to prepare students before they directly engage in service activities in Punduhsari Village, Manyaran District, Wonogiri Regency.

The activity began with the implementation of a pre-test aimed at measuring the initial understanding of students regarding the implementation of KKN. After that, the first session was delivered by drh. Siti Susanti, Ph.D., who discussed the philosophy of Kuliah Kerja Nyata and the regulations for KKN implementation. In this session, students were given an understanding of the values of community service, ethics while at the KKN location, and the responsibilities that must be carried out as representatives of Diponegoro University in the community.
The second session was delivered by Aditiya Kusumawati, S.K.M., M.Kes., who explained the characteristics of the Punduhsari Village area, Manyaran District, Wonogiri Regency. The material presented includes the geographical conditions, socio-cultural aspects of the community, regional potential, as well as various challenges that students need to understand in designing and implementing work programs that meet the needs of the local community.
Next, the third session was delivered by Yuli Rohmiyati, S.Sos., M.Si., Ph.D. regarding the mechanism of KKN implementation, the tasks and roles of students during the service activities. In this session, students received guidance on the KKN implementation process, administrative regulations, program execution, report preparation, as well as documentation and activity publication techniques. Additionally, students were also provided with explanations regarding the rules for creating activity videos, social media publications, and various outputs that must be fulfilled as part of the KKN implementation and reporting.

The briefing activity was concluded with the implementation of a post-test as a form of evaluation of the participants’ understanding after following the entire series of activities. Thru this briefing, it is hoped that the KKN Team IDBU 11 students will have optimal readiness in carrying out community service and be able to make a tangible contribution to the community of Punduhsari Village, Wonogiri Regency.
